The Okanagan Screen Arts Society (OSA), a non-profit society in Vernon, was founded in 2016. The OSA curates,

been in operation as an arts venue since 1929.

OSA Mandates:

  • To preserve the historic Vernon Towne Theatre.
  • To bring Canadian and International Films to the community of Vernon.
  • To provide a live performance space which will give opportunities to local artists to share their
compositions and talents at an affordable cost.
  • To provide bursaries annually to students pursuing education in the creative arts.
  • To contribute to the vitality of the downtown Vernon area.
