50 Seats in 50 Days

The final phase of renovations to refresh our auditorium and add capacity for hosting live concerts and events is taking place this spring and we would LOVE to add a little piece of YOU to our history!

The Towne Theatre has been an arts & culture institution in the North Okanagan since 1929. Now operated by the non-profit Okanagan Screen Arts Society, we are proud to have recently been awarded Best Independent Theatre in Canada by our industry partners!

Our spring upgrades will include fresh paint, new curtains, new acoustic treatments and a new cinema sound system. These elements, in addition to a stage and other live events equipment, will allow us to incorporate live events at the theatre. To date we have successfully raised $120,000 for this renovation but still need to raise an additional $25,000 to complete this project.

Here is where we need help from the community!

To support the renovation and elevate our community supporters, we are offering a time-limited opportunity. For a $500 sponsorship, you will receive a 2" x 4" plaque engraved with your name(s), business logo, memorial or short message to be placed on a seat of your choosing in our auditorium. With your help, we are sure to achieve this fundraising goal and continue serving Vernon and surrounding areas.

If you or your business are interested in being a sponsor, we would love to hear from you!
